Fee Free ATMs in Croatia
On my trip to Dubrovnik, my hostel required payment in cash. Although I always have euros on me, I definitely didn’t have enough for four nights. This meant finding fee-free ATMs in Croatia to withdraw over 150 euros. I also needed cash for the buses as most of the public transport was cash only.
The first thing I do when needing to withdraw cash is to search up which ATMs don’t charge a fee. I always avoid Euronet and try and stick to local banks. Sadly, I discovered that most banks in Croatia all charge around 5 euros. If you’re coming from another country that uses euros, I recommend bringing cash with you. For those that aren’t able to do that, you’ll need to visit an ATM.
Kent Bank
After a quick Google search, I found several people online mentioning Kent Bank and stating that it charges no fees. I had a lot of time to kill while waiting for my bus to Dubrovnik and so went to go check it out. As promised online, Kent Bank is a fee free ATM in Croatia. I visited in June 2025 and made two withdrawals, both with zero fees. One important thing to note is that they limit you to 130 euros at a time. I needed to make two transactions to get enough cash, but luckily my bank don’t charge me for international transactions.
Locations:

Kent Bank isn’t a huge chain, so there aren’t multiple branches to visit. If you’re not in a big city, then you’ll need to hope you can use your card. It was only really my hostel that required cash, I was able to pay by card everywhere else in Croatia. To find the exact locations, you can look up Kent Bank on Google Maps.
Zadar
The branch in Zadar is located a ten minute walk from the main bus station. If you land in Zadar, then get off the bus there instead of the old town and it’s an easy enough walk. It’s not difficult to find, and I felt safe enough in the area. It is the only fee-free ATM in Zadar. The airport bus in Zadar is cash only on board, but you can use your card to buy a ticket at a machine in the airport which will get you in to the main bus station.
Split
There are two branches in Split. One is quite far to the east, but the other is a 15 minute walk from the old town. I didn’t visit this one, but there are plenty of reviews on Google maps confirming it is a fee-free ATM in Split.
Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik only has one fee-free ATM. It is located halfway between the bus station and the old town. The bus tickets are valid for one hour, so you can get a bus there to withdraw money then use the same ticket to return. Or, if you arrive at the bus station, then you can get a bus towards the old town and get off halfway then get on the next bus. You’re able to buy a bus ticket at the bus station using your card too, so if you arrive with no cash, you’ll still be able to get to the ATM easily enough.
Zagreb
I didn’t visit Zagreb on this trip; however there are three fee free ATMs in Zagreb. You can look up the locations on Google Maps, but one of them is definitely very central.

Have you found any other fee free ATMs in Croatia? If so, let me know and I’ll add them to this post! Hopefully this will help save you some money.
